IQANZ’s practice of growing and internally promoting staff is paying dividends, with the Board of Directors formally appointing Nicki Carruth as Managing Director effective 1 June 2016.
IQANZ’s Board of Directors is delighted to announce the formal appointment of Nicki Carruth to Managing Director following Nicki’s completion of a year in the role of Acting Managing Director. “Nicki has embraced the role in her acting capacity and over the last twelve months has identified and established a strong strategy and plan for IQANZ that is currently in flight” said IQANZ Board Chair Kevin Bryant.
Nicki joined IQANZ in 2006, and since that time has used her project management skills to add significant value to IQANZ’s clients. She has moved through the organisation, spending a number of years building strong and enduring client relationships and growing IQANZ’s assurance reputation. Since becoming Managing Director, Nicki has led IQANZ to be successfully appointed to the All of Government Consultancy Services panel and GCIO Assurance Sub panel, as well as developing a strategy for future growth. “I see an increasing reliance being placed on assurance within projects and programmes, as a means for an organisation to increase their confidence around the likelihood of successful delivery”, Nicki said recently. “This places the onus on us as a premier provider of assurance services, to introduce more cost-effective, efficient and innovative ways of meeting our clients’ needs. I’m excited about the opportunities we have as an organisation to lead that discussion with our clients and to work in partnership with them to deliver outstanding results.”
As a team we couldn’t be happier to see Nicki move to the permanent role. We’re excited to be part of the initiatives Nicki is running to make IQANZ even better and to deliver more value to our clients. The next chapter of IQANZ will be great.
